The Port of Sunnyside went before the Community Economic Revitalization Board (CERB) board on May 18, 2017 to request funding to develop a 32 acre site between exit 67 and exit 69. The funds will help finance investment in infrastructure to promote economic and industrial development of public land. The Port plans on developing the property for future commercial development.
